Brick Oven Pizza is tucked away in a corner of the same strip mall as Simply Organized and Chun Wah Kam in Kapolei.
We got in for an early dinner but the place was crowded with a Happy Hour crowd celebrating pau hana on Friday. The restaurant is kid-friendly though, and gave Nomz a piece of raw pizza dough to play with (with instructions to not let her eat it) – how delightful! It turned out to be way more entertaining than crayons and paper. D sculpted “Olaf”- for Nomz and later made her a dough bracelet.
Oysters on the half shell ($2.00/ea Happy Hour /$2.50/ea regular price): I’m glad to know of at least one place now that serves them in Kapolei.
French Fries ($? Happy Hour /$6.25 regular price)
And the rest off the regular menu. Small Veggie Salad ($5.20)
Garlic Cheese Bread ($2.50): this was sooo yummy.
And a medium size “Super” Pizza ($24.45). Your choice of regular or whole wheat crust, served piping hot.
The food is good and it’s family friendly and so it immediately became one of my top eat-in choices in Kapolei.
