Farmers Market Haul

The Mililani Farmers Market on Sundays is great if you’re looking for lots of fresh local produce at better than store prices. It’s small though so don’t expect much in terms of food stands like KCC. I love the cool and pretty setting at the Mililani High School gym parking lot. It’s sponsored by the Hawaii Farm Bureau federation which requires all produce sold to be locally grown. If you park in the main parking lot, it’s a few tree-lined steps to the gym parking lot (closer to Kam Hwy side of the campus).

Here are just a few of the vendors at the market. One of my favorites, Marine Agrifuture that sells Kahuku sea asparagus and goodies made with sea asparagus.
