Breakfast at the Hotel

Sunday morning me, hubby, my sister, her hubby, and mom and dad enjoyed a family breakfast at Kochel, the buffet restaurant at Shinyokohama Prince Hotel. While the restaurant itself lacks in view or ambience, the extensive menu selection and quality more than made up for it.

I started out with some salad, fresh fruits, corn potage soup and congee.

And some scramble eggs, sausage, croissant. Rice, tsukemono, tamagoyaki, bamboo shoots, kamaboko, grated daikon with nametake.

A wonderful start to our first day!

Hey, Ai, we didn’t know you were on Japan! Shelley tried calling to invite you over for Easter Sunday lunch. Hope you are having a great time! The airplane food looks surprisingly amazing! I’m glad you are getting to spend some time with your family and to do some fun travelling before the baby comes.

Oh, so sorry we missed Easter lunch with you folks! Hope you guys had a great time. The trip was kind of a last minute idea and we flew standby. We just got back today, had lots of fun!
