We’re becoming regulars at Bistro K&T. I mean, the service is so good here and the owners are so friendly and welcoming.🙂
In an attempt to not be that guest that’s always coming over and eating all their food, we brought most of the food this time around. BYOF at Bistro K&T. But they had the booze covered.
My other friend was picking up sushi, so I decided on a Japanese izakaya style theme, easy stuff.
Chilled Tofu with kimchi, crispy bean thread and ponzu sauce. I stole the idea from a simple yet fabulous dish I had at a Tokyo bar years ago, and have been faithfully recreating it since. (I get a lot of my inspiration from restaurants – it’s like a hobby, trying to figure out how to recreate a great dish at home).

and K&T made a yummy chicken tenderloin katsu.
Ate, drank, gossiped. Then ate, drank, and gossiped some more. Then drove drunk friend home. Wait, didn’t we just do this?
