Dinner Part-ay

Saturday night we were invited to our friends’ place for dinner. They have a charming condo that they always keep so neat and beautiful. Every time I visit, it looks like their place is on the market and they’re having an open house.

This is why we’re so lucky we live Hawaii: the weather is so wonderful that they have their dining table outdoors on the patio year-round.  Here’s our table for alfresco dining at “Bistro K&T”. It was so cute they had linen napkins and everything! I think it’s the little touches like linen napkins that make your dinner guests feel special.

Dinner was a fantastic spread of:

  • Celery Slaw with Shrimp
  • Roasted Corn Salad
  • Salmon with Pommery Mustard
  • Grilled Tri-tip Steak
  • French Fries
  • And of course, the desserts that I made

My compliments to the chef/host/hostess!

Funny that you commented on the linen napkins because had the other couple made it we would have to have used paper plates and napkins…

… which would have been totally OK with me! :) But the napkins were nice. Thanks again!
