Pigs in a Blanket

They’ve gotten a bad rap as the “uncool” cocktail hour fare at a tacky wedding reception stuck in the 80’s. But these delicious and addictive little hors d’oeuvre are never out of style, in my opinion.

I made some for my hubby’s potluck recently. His request was for something easy to eat because this was a gathering at the tennis courts. So I picked up a package of Lil’ Smokies and Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and wrap, wrap, wrap… voila! They were a sold-out hit.

I totally agree with you, Ai! This is Kristen’s favorite “go to” appetizer that she makes for our family gatherings. And you’re so right…..it ALWAYS gets eaten up very quickly! I love those tasty little things. Sometimes Kristen uses the Lil’ CHEDDAR smokies as a change up and I kind of like those even better! She thinks everyone is tired of them, but, nope, everyone still loves them!

I’ve never had Kristen’s pigs in a blanket. I’ll have to request that for our next girls night in. Cheddar smokies sound even better!
