Spam Musubis

I recently rekindled my passion for Spam musubis. I haven’t eaten them for the longest time until a few weeks ago, when I wandered into Seven Eleven in search of a snack to take to work. On a whim I bought a Spam musubi with egg and as I was eating it, I actually said out loud to myself  “I forgot how GOOD these things are!”. Since then, I’ve been eating them every chance I get.

For anyone who doesn’t live in Hawaii, Spam musubis are blocks of rice with a slice of Spam wrapped in nori (seaweed). I like the Spam seasoned in shoyu and sugar, with egg and a sprinkle of furikake.

A co-worker brought for me these Spam musubis from Sugoi Bento & Catering in Kalihi today. There’s the plain Spam musubi and the other with fried rice. So ono!

I love spam musubi, too! They’re Kai’s favorite so I get my fill whenever he comes to visit. I like mine without the sauce.

I have experienced spam musubi last May at Luana Hill Country Club during golf play with your husband. It was interesting, reasonably priced and yummy!

I LOVE spam musubi. It’s a great thing to eat ’cause it’s pretty much a meal in itself. I tend to like it with the shoyu sauce…Adds a lot more flavor.
