Mother-in-law (MIL) is staying with us for a week so we gathered at Sister-in-law #4′s (SIL4) place for dinner. My contributions:
Somen noodles served with a separate sauce. At a potluck, it helps to create individual mounds of noodles so they don’t stick together.
Simple salad with corn and egg.
SIL4 prepared make-your-own teriyaki chicken wraps and BBQ hot dogs which I didn’t take a picture of. Lately I’ve been using my DSLR camera more, which is bigger, heavier, and more humbug to carry around…

ありがとうございます！最近もっぱら一眼レフで撮影の練習してるんだけどやっぱり食べ物の撮影って難しいですねー。
お素麺がまるで違う食べ物のようにきれいで、盛り付けでこんなに変わるものかと驚いています。やっぱりお料理は味も大事だけど器や盛り付けのセンスも大事だね。私はまるで芸術的なセンスがないのでうらやましいです。
本当にお料理って目でも楽しむものだよね。写真を撮っているときにつくづく思うけどやっぱり色って大事ですね。
